Our story
Good work deserves to be seen
The idea behind TaskZing, in plain words.
Every neighbourhood is full of people who are very good at what they do: the carpenter whose shelves fit a crooked wall perfectly, the painter with the steady hand, the designer who turns a rough idea into something you want to show off. Most of them are not famous. Most of them are hard to find.
When you go looking for help, you often get a list of names and a star rating. It tells you very little about the thing you actually care about: what will the work look like? Meanwhile, the people who do the work have nowhere simple to show it.
We built TaskZing because good work deserves to be seen. So on TaskZing the work comes first. Providers share their real projects through photos, videos and profiles. Clients look at what has actually been done, nearby, before they ever say hello.
Then we get out of the way. Clients and providers talk directly, agree on the job and agree on payment between themselves. TaskZing takes no commission on jobs, because the money for the work should stay with the person who did it. Providers who want more reach can choose an optional plan, and we say clearly what it costs.
We are a Canadian marketplace, and we want it to feel local: real people, real projects, close to home. We are still growing, and we improve TaskZing by listening to the clients and providers who use it.
