What is TaskZing?
TaskZing is a Canadian local-services marketplace where people discover nearby providers through project photos, videos, and profiles. Customers and providers connect directly to discuss the work and payment. TaskZing takes no commission on jobs; optional subscriptions and marketing services are charged separately.
Who is TaskZing for?
TaskZing is for two groups. Clients are people and businesses who need something done, such as a repair, a project or a service. Providers are skilled people and businesses who want their work to be seen and to find local clients.
Why was TaskZing created?
Because good work deserves to be seen. On TaskZing, providers show real projects through photos, videos and profiles, so clients can judge the work itself before they get in touch.
How do I find nearby providers?
Browse or search providers and showcases using location filters, category and ratings. Enable location access in the app to see providers and jobs close to you.
Can I see a provider's work before contacting them?
Yes. Providers publish showcase work, photo and video posts and reels on their profiles, along with their skills and reviews, so you can look at real examples before you send a message.
Can I post a request for help?
Yes. Post a job with a description, photos, your location and a budget. Providers can then send you proposals, and you compare prices and timelines and choose the one that fits.
How do providers showcase their services?
Providers create a profile and add showcase work, photo carousels and short reels. The free plan includes a set number of live showcase items and monthly reels. The optional Pro and Business plans raise those limits.
Does TaskZing take a commission?
No. TaskZing takes no commission on jobs. Optional subscriptions and marketing services are charged separately and their price is shown before you confirm.
Who handles payment for the job?
You do. Clients and providers agree on the price, timing and payment method with each other and settle payment directly. TaskZing does not hold, escrow or pay out job money.
What is free, and what costs money?
Creating an account, posting jobs, browsing providers, sending proposals and chatting are free. Pro and Business are optional paid plans with higher limits, more analytics and, for Business, a verified business badge. Sponsored placements and flyer campaigns are optional marketing services charged separately.
