TaskZing Community Guidelines
Version 2.0.0 · Effective September 27, 2026
1. Overview & Scope
These Community Guidelines apply to everything posted or shared on TaskZing — Reels, Stories, Proof of Work, job postings, Showcase Work, profiles, chat messages, and reviews. They exist alongside our Terms & Conditions and are designed to keep TaskZing safe for everyone, comply with Apple App Store and Google Play user-generated-content requirements, and set clear expectations for what is and isn't allowed. Violating these guidelines can result in content being hidden or removed, and in repeated or serious cases, account suspension or termination.
2. Child Safety
TaskZing has zero tolerance for content that endangers, sexualizes, or exploits minors in any way. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming behavior, and any content that puts a minor at risk. Any such content is removed immediately and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant authority in the reporter's jurisdiction, and the responsible account is permanently banned. There is no review period or appeal for this category.
3. Violent or Repulsive Content
Do not post graphic violence, gore, real footage of death or serious injury, animal cruelty, or content designed primarily to shock or disgust viewers. Depicting a job hazard, injury, or safety issue for documentation or safety-awareness purposes is allowed if handled responsibly and without gratuitous detail — context matters, and moderators weigh intent alongside content.
4. Terrorism & Violent Extremism
Content that promotes, glorifies, funds, or recruits for terrorist or violent extremist organizations or causes is strictly prohibited, as is content that provides instructions for carrying out attacks. This applies regardless of the ideology, cause, or group involved.
5. Sexual Content & Nudity
TaskZing is a professional services marketplace and is not a platform for sexual or adult content. Nudity, sexually explicit content, and content that sexualizes any individual is not allowed, including in profile photos, Reels, Stories, and Showcase Work. This applies regardless of whether the person depicted consented to the content being posted.
6. Harmful or Dangerous Acts
Do not post content that encourages or instructs dangerous activities likely to cause serious injury or death — this includes dangerous challenges, instructions for making weapons or explosives, or content promoting the misuse of drugs, alcohol, or medication. Content that responsibly documents a real workplace hazard for safety purposes is treated differently from content that glamorizes or encourages dangerous behavior.
7. Suicide, Self-Harm & Eating Disorders
Content that promotes, glorifies, or gives instructions for suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders is not allowed. We understand people sometimes share their struggles, and content seeking support or raising awareness may remain up, but content that encourages others to engage in self-harm will be removed. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out for help: in the US and Canada, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); outside North America, visit https://findahelpline.com for a crisis line in your country. You are not alone, and help is available.
8. Hate Speech & Abuse
Content that attacks, demeans, or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or serious medical condition is not allowed. This includes slurs, hateful stereotypes, and content that promotes exclusion or segregation of these groups.
9. Harassment & Bullying
Do not target another person with repeated unwanted contact, threats, insults, degrading comments, or content intended to humiliate or intimidate them. This includes harassment of other users, providers, or TaskZing staff, whether in reviews, chat messages, comments, or posted content.
10. Misinformation
Do not knowingly share false information likely to cause real-world harm — including false claims about a provider's licensing or qualifications, fabricated safety or health claims, and manipulated media (e.g., deceptive deepfakes) presented as authentic. Honest mistakes and opinions are not misinformation; deliberate deception intended to mislead users is.
11. Spam, Scams & Misleading Content
Do not post repetitive, unsolicited, or irrelevant content, fake job postings, fake reviews, or content designed to deceive users into payments, personal information, or off-platform transactions that bypass TaskZing's protections. Impersonating another person, business, or the TaskZing team is also prohibited.
12. Legal & IP Issues
Do not post content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, or that otherwise violates applicable law. If you believe your intellectual property has been used without authorization, contact us at customercare@taskzing.com with details so we can investigate.
13. How We Enforce
We use a two-tier enforcement system. Severe categories — child safety, terrorism, sexual content, violent or repulsive content, harmful or dangerous acts, and suicide/self-harm content — are automatically hidden from everyone except the owner as soon as a single report is filed, pending review by our team; this fast action is required for app-store compliance and to limit harm quickly given our review team's size. Standard categories — hate speech, harassment, misinformation, spam, legal/IP issues, and other concerns — are queued for manual review without immediate action, since a single report on these categories is more likely to be mistaken or disputed. Reports on user profiles and chat messages are always queued for manual review and never auto-hide an account or conversation, since the impact of suspending an account or hiding a chat is much larger than hiding one post.
14. Reporting & What Happens Next
You can report a Reel, Story, Proof of Work, job posting, Showcase Work, profile, or chat message directly from the app using the Report option. Choose the category that best describes the issue and add any helpful details. If your report triggers an automatic hide, you'll see confirmation that the content has been hidden pending review; otherwise, you'll see confirmation that it has been queued for our team. We review every report and take action — restoring, keeping hidden, or permanently removing content — based on our findings. Reporters are not notified of the specific enforcement outcome to protect the reported user's privacy, but the owner of the content will see it badged as hidden or removed.
15. Appeals & Repeat Violations
If your content is hidden or removed and you believe it was a mistake, contact us at customercare@taskzing.com with the content details and your reasoning, and our team will re-review it. Content found to violate these guidelines after review will remain removed. You can also block a person at any time to stop them contacting you or seeing your content. Accounts with repeated or serious violations — especially in severe categories — face escalating consequences up to and including permanent suspension, regardless of whether any individual violation was appealed successfully.
