TaskZing Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2.0.0 · Effective September 27, 2026
This policy sets the rules for using TaskZing, run by ZingTe (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada). It applies to everyone who uses the apps or website. It is part of our Terms and Conditions. The Community Guidelines explain in detail what content is and is not allowed.
1. Purpose
TaskZing helps people find and hire local service providers and show their real work. We want a safe, respectful and honest place for clients, providers and local communities.
2. You must not
- Harm or threaten people: violence, threats, intimidation, stalking, doxxing, harassment or bullying.
- Post prohibited content: child sexual abuse material or anything that endangers minors, sexually explicit or exploitative material, graphic violence, terrorism or violent extremism, self-harm promotion, or hate speech. See the Community Guidelines.
- Deceive: impersonate a person or business, use fake identities or credentials, post fake jobs, fake reviews or misleading claims about work, prices, licences or insurance.
- Do anything illegal: offer or ask for illegal goods, services or substances, or work that needs a licence you do not have.
- Scam or take payments off the rails: ask for payment in ways designed to trick people, pressure people to pay before agreed work, or use payment schemes meant to cheat other users.
- Spam or misuse messaging: send unsolicited bulk or repeated messages, promotions or referral spam.
- Misuse reviews and ratings: trade reviews, threaten bad reviews to get something, or post reviews about work you did not do or receive.
- Break or abuse the Platform: attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe or test security, interfere with service, upload malware, scrape or use bots or automated access without our written permission, or reverse engineer the software.
- Infringe rights: post content that copies or uses others' work, brands, music or images without permission.
- Evade enforcement: create new accounts to avoid a suspension or removal.
3. Professional conduct
Clients and providers must be respectful, honest and clear. Describe your services and prices truthfully. Do what you agreed or tell the other person in good time. Keep discussions about a job on the platform where we can help if something goes wrong. Never share another person's private information without their permission.
4. Safety
Meet people in a safe way, especially for work at a home or private place. Tell someone where you are going. Do not share sensitive personal details in chat. If you feel unsafe, leave and contact local emergency services. You can then report the person to us in the app.
5. Reporting and blocking
Use Report on any profile, post, reel, story, showcase, job or message. Choose the category that fits and add details. You can also block a person to stop them contacting you or seeing your content. Reports are reviewed by our team. Severe categories are hidden straight away pending review. See the Content Removal Policy for what happens next.
6. Enforcement
We may, without notice for serious cases: remove or hide content, limit features, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and report illegal activity to the authorities (including child safety material to the relevant authority). For less serious first offences we may give a warning. Repeated or serious violations lead to stronger action. If you think we made a mistake, email customercare@taskzing.com with the details and we will look again.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. For a material change we will let you know in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update.
